I dug a hole.
And I really like it.

We would like to have called this post “A Hole is to … Dig.”
In a style similar to that of many of Sammy’s blogs.
But that title has already been taken by …
Writer: Ruth Krauss.
Illustrator: Maurice Sendak.
And publisher: Harper Collins.
For the wonderful childrens’s book .
Called.
And that’s why we couldn’t.

I’m glad you had such fun digging that hole, Sammy. Dogs should be able to dig sometimes, even if they get dirty!! It was nice to see you again last weekend

Thank you Ann!
Because I agree with you. Digging should be allowed. And I love it so much. I don’t mind what I dig. I dig in the ground. I dig in the sheets on the bed. I dig on car windows. I have to stand up to do that! I dig anywhere I can. The best thing is digging and rolling over at the same time.

A hole is to make a white dog very, very dirty!!!!
Are you busy digging so you can have a swimming pool in the back yard??? No more squirrel bones!!!
Bonnie Bergstein - September 1, 2010 at 9:53 am |
Hi Bonnie!
You are right.
I did get very dirty doing my digging.
But it’s not for a swimming pool.
Because we just got a new pool.
It’s blue and its called a wading pool.
Except me and my Best Friend don’t know what wading is.
Maybe we can learn that next weekend.
But you guessed right.
I have been looking for squirrel bones in my backyard.
Because I just knew some squirrels were coming there at night.
I could smell them.
And they left some walnuts they had been eating for their dinner.
But you are right abut not eating them too.
Because my Kind Friend does not want me to eat squirrel bones.
Except I don’t know why.
Thank you for coming to visit me!

Great hole, Sammy. Maybe if I start none at this end we could meet in the middle one day.
Lots of love

Hi Tilly!
That would be so fun.
Are you a good digger?
My Kind Friend says terriers like you are very good at digging holes.
And she still thinks that maybe I have a little bit of terrier in me.
So that’s why I like to dig.
But I don’t know.
Hope you are all doing well at your house.
We will come and visit your blog soon.
Lots of Love from Sammy

Hi Elmhurst Friends:
I’m good at digging aren’t I?
Yes. It will be fun when we can play together!
