Samuel’s Kind Friend rescues a young Cedar Waxwing, the only survivor of flock that flew into a glass wall in downtown Sacramento. The bird was taken to Sacramento Wildlife Rescue. Samuel is an abused Bichon Frise Poodle mix rescued from a Sacramento Shelter which determined he was “unadoptable” and would be euthanized.

Finally …
September 18, 2009Severely abused Sacramento shelter rescue dog, Samuel, a Bichon Frise Poodle mix, was going to be euthanised because he was so afraid and therefore “unadoptable”. Rescued by Bay Area Poodle Rescue, Samuel’s socialization, rehabilitation and recovery continue in Sacramento when he meets some horses, some ducks, a turkey vulture and a cat who takes no guff.
